President pins job hopes on export growth

UPS chief executive Scott Davis was one of 18 leaders named to President Barack Obama's export advisory council this week. The appointments are part of the president's strategy to create jobs by boosting the sale of U.S. goods overseas. U.S. exports were up 17% in the first four months of the year compared with the same period last year. "This is where American jobs will be tomorrow," Obama said.
