EU CDS inquiry fails to address ongoing issues, experts say

The European Commission's investigation of credit default swaps activity from 2006 to 2009 and subsequent charges against 13 banks, Markit Group and ISDA are significant in an effort to break down the market. However, experts say the commission is failing to address existing hurdles in a shift of over-the-counter operations onto exchanges.
