House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has received a letter from 532 farm groups demanding that the farm bill, which failed to pass last month, be brought back for a vote without changes. Conservative House members want to break out changes to the food stamp program from the bill. Without action, policies on subsidies, energy, credit, disaster aid, international aid, rural development and conservation will expire Sept. 30.
