Report: Online ad spend to reach $55 billion in 2014

Interactive ad spending in the U.S. by 2014 will total $55 billion and will increase its share of marketer budgets from 12% in 2009 to 21%, Forrester Research is projecting. Growth is projected to be steepest in mobile and social-network marketing, although search and display are expected to attract the vast majority of actual expenditures.
