Google joins UFO enthusiasts to mark 66-year anniversary of Roswell

It's been 66 years since a rancher discovered what he claimed was a flying saucer on his property near Roswell, N.M., and the strange saga -- and the alleged government cover-up that followed -- have embedded themselves in popular culture and continue to be a source of inspiration for UFO buffs and conspiracy theorists. On Monday, Google marked the anniversary with a black-and-white Roswell-themed "doodle" and a point-and-click game on its homepage in which players help an Earth-stranded alien pick up the pieces from the crash.
