Target stores in Canada will sell perishable food

Target stores opening in Canada will sell fresh food, as those in the U.S. recently began doing, said Tony Fisher, president of Target Canada. "The breadth of our food assortment will vary by market," he said, but the company does not plan to add SuperTarget stores, which have full supermarkets, when it opens as many as 150 stores in Canada in 2013.
