Class I's connections to help streamline crude oil shipment in New Orleans

The rail connections of BNSF, Canadian National, CSX, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific to New Orleans Public Belt Railroad will help streamline the shipment of crude oil at the Port of New Orleans' newly opened Gulf Gateway Terminal. "The design of the terminal provides operational flexibility, optimizing the movement of crude oil from rail to barge," according to NOPB officials.
