RIN prices rise on expectation that EPA won't alter RFS

Speculation that the Environmental Protection Agency is staying the course on the Renewable Fuel Standard is driving up the trading price of Renewable Identification Numbers to new highs. Figures obtained by Bloomberg show that the price of grain-based ethanol RINs has risen by 10 cents to $1.15, while those of advanced RINs have increased by 8 cents to $1.18.
