Dementia risk is lessened by exercise, tea, vitamin D combo

Three studies found that individuals who engage in moderate to heavy physical activity, drink tea regularly and have adequate levels of vitamin D are at lower risk of developing cognitive decline and dementia. The findings suggest that improved lifestyles and diet habits "may be able to silence the expression of risk genes, a phenomenon called epigenetics," an expert on aging said.
