NYC engineer testifies against crane rigger

New York City engineer Peter Stroh testified for the prosecution in the manslaughter case against crane rigger William Rapetti involving the 2008 collapse of a crane on East 51st Street. Stroh's engineering has been questioned, but the engineer called his plans "sound and safe." Seven people died in the collapse. But Stroh also had praise for Rapetti: "He's one of the best riggers out there. I worked with Billy for a long time, and he's always worked very safely."
