Texas teacher's Middle East travels to infuse geography lessons with experience

A world geography teacher from Texas will be able to infuse classroom activities with lessons she learned firsthand in a trip to the Middle East. Lake Travis High School teacher Dana Browning recently toured cities in Israel and the Palestinian-controlled region, including a stop at a school with both Israeli and Palestinian students. "Everything is geography, and geography is everything," said Browning, who noted that the trip fits well with her curriculum, including stateless nations such as the Palestinians.
