Ethanol is cited as cause of needed mower repairs

Watkins True Value in Maryville, Mo., has seen a boost in its repair business as more customers have to replace lawn mower carburetors and fuel lines because of higher levels of ethanol in gasoline. To alleviate this problem, people should buy regular gasoline or find gas that contains less ethanol, service manager Kyle Nook said. Nook recommends an inspection and tuneup for a mower once a year.
