Middle-school camp dives deeper into math concepts

Brigham Young University's annual summer Math Camp gives young math enthusiasts a chance to explore the subject in more depth than they typically can during the school year. "Kids who come to Math Camp do much better in regular math classes," said David Wright, BYU math professor and director of the Math Camp, adding, "They have a desire to understand concepts, not just to memorize."
