Hardee's franchisee raises financing for Atlanta store purchases

Longtime Hardee's franchisees Steve Rosenfield and Dewey "Buddy" Brown have acquired $8.5 million in financing through their newly formed entity Biscuits and Burgers to purchase 18 Hardee's stores in Atlanta. CKE Restaurants, parent of both the Hardee's and Carl's Jr. quickservice chains, announced earlier this year that it would sell 200 of its Hardee's restaurants to franchisees.
