Number of female CFOs holds steady

Women account for 44 of the CFOs at Fortune 500 companies, the same number as last year, according to a survey. The list includes nine newcomers, and the number could grow in coming years, according to recruiter Lorraine Hack. "I am seeing a next generation of female finance leaders who can and want to rise to the CFO role," she says.
