"Never criticize." That was the advice from Richard Branson, discussing leadership in a recent blog post. But software entrepreneur Tim Berry writes that he isn't so sure Branson has it right. "Managing mistakes" is an important task for leaders, he writes, and that requires good, constructive criticism: "If you, the boss, never acknowledge the mistakes, you don't optimize the business."
