Wendy's marketing chief shares fresh take on salads

Wendy's is serious about raising the bar with its new handmade salad offerings, going so far as to invest in salad spinners for each of its 5,600 U.S. restaurants, CMO Ken Calwell says in this Adweek interview. The new line will be featured in an upcoming ad campaign tying the fresh offerings to the chain's "You know when it's real" tagline.
