Afghan guard helps shooting suspect escape military hospital

An Afghan guard devised an elaborate ruse to aid the escape of an Afghan soldier who had been arrested in the shooting death of a NATO service member, according to Gen. Abdul Hameed, an Afghan commander. "He was a trustworthy person, and we do not know what made him release the culprit and escape with him," Hameed said of the guard.
