Ohio cities to test glass-recycling program

Columbus and other cities in Ohio are getting ready to pilot a one-year recycling program that will collect glass from bars and restaurants for manufacturers including Owens-Illinois, Owens Corning and Johns Manville for glass food containers and insulation. Currently, the 40 bars and restaurants in Columbus' downtown area throw away about 150 tons of glass each week.
