Air Canada wins contract concessions from final labor group

Air Canada mechanics have approved a new contract that would halt raises and pension payments for 21 months as the carrier seeks to avoid another trip to bankruptcy court. The mechanics, represented by the International Association of Machinists, had voted against the deal earlier this month, making them the lone holdout among Air Canada's unionized workforce.
