New plastic surgery trend grabs hold in Japan

Some people who believe in palmistry are asking plastic surgeons in Japan to create or alter lines on their palms in the hopes of changing their fate. Plastic surgeons use an electric scalpel instead of a laser for the procedure because laser lines heal and do not leave a clear mark. Men usually want to change their financial luck, while women often want to change their luck with relationships, plastic surgeons say.
