N.Y. school district mulls sharing a superintendent

The Cambridge, N.Y., Board of Education is considering sharing a superintendent with neighboring district Salem as a way to save money when the contract expires for Cambridge's superintendent. The Salem board has yet to discuss the idea. Such arrangements are reportedly uncommon in the state, but at least two other New York superintendents are each responsible for more than one district.
