Paramount picks DTS-HD for UltraViolet download audio format

Paramount Pictures has selected DTS-HD as its preferred audio format for downloading video from the cloud-based UltraViolet service. Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures previously chose the Dolby Digital Plus audio format for their UltraViolet downloads. The Hollywood studios plan to release an Ultraviolet Common File Format this year.
