Group calls for technology funding at colleges of education

New teachers need training in technology before they start their careers in the classroom, according to educational-technology advocates. They are asking Congress for $50 million to fund the Preparing Teachers for Digital Age Learners program, which would give grants to colleges of education to train students in technology.
