Senate bill would see more expedited screening options

A $46.4 billion Senate bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security mandates that the Transportation Security Administration extend expedited screening to 25% of fliers by the end of this year and to 50% next year. The bill also calls for better officer training for fliers who need special assistance.
