AT&T Next offers annual device upgrades

AT&T will introduce a wireless plan next week that lets subscribers trade in their smartphone or tablet once a year for a newer version. The plan, dubbed AT&T Next, operates similar to a car lease, with users paying a monthly installment in lieu of a traditional contract and gaining the options of trading up at the end of 12 months.
