Cancer survivors may suffer more from hot flashes, study finds

Menopausal cancer survivors experienced more frequent and severe hot flashes than cancer-free women but they reported better quality of life and coped better with the symptoms of menopause, according to a study of more than 1,000 women in Australia. Levels of sexual activity and function were comparable for the two groups. The findings appeared in the journal Menopause.
