Dell asks SEC for settlement in Intel case

Dell is seeking to settle a Securities and Exchange Commission case relating to the company's ties to Intel. Under the proposed settlement, Dell CEO Michael Dell would be allowed to keep his job, but the company might have to pay a fine stemming from not disclosing details about its relationship with Intel. Dell has reportedly allocated $100 million to cover the cost of the settlement.
