Las Vegas veterinarian furthers holistic pet medicine

Las Vegas veterinarian Joanne Stefanatos has spent 39 years building a practice that marries holistic methods with traditional veterinary medicine, caring for the city's animal stars, rescued wildlife and family pets. She discovered holistic methods in the early 1970s, after an acupuncturist helped her treat an injured coyote, and went on to help found the 3,000-member American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
