Hotel security in focus amid rise in solo female travelers

As the number of women traveling alone all over the world continues to increase, hotels are pressed to review their security measures to ensure a safe environment for their guests. "Hoteliers have a legal duty to provide a reasonably safe environment whether (guests) are male or female," said Chad Callaghan, a safety and security consultant for the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Callaghan and a few other safety experts provide measures that hotels can take to protect their female guests.
