Priceline's iPad app offers more features, greater functionality

Priceline has improved its iPad application by using more map-based features and providing greater cross-platform functionality for users who also own an iPhone. The tablet app aids trip research and planning, while the smartphone version facilitates last-minute bookings, Priceline spokesman Brian Ek says. The tablet app represents the first time travelers can compare and book Tonight-Only, Express, Name Your Own Price and published-price deals from the same interface, Lauren Johnson writes.
