Teachers' enthusiasm for STEM soars at U.S. Air Force Academy

From crime scene investigation to basic engineering concepts, teachers at the U.S. Air Force Academy's annual STEM Boot Camp are learning new strategies for teaching science, technology, engineering and math. The summer program is sponsored by the academy's K-12 STEM Outreach Center and the Colorado Consortium for Earth and Space Science Education. "We really want these teachers to become STEM ambassadors in their schools," academy spokeswoman Julie Imada said.
