U.K. study finds variations in access to kidney transplants

A study conducted by the U.K. Renal Registry and NHS Blood and Transplant uncovered inconsistencies in how patients needing kidney transplants are able to access the waiting list for donor organs, in the time they spend waiting to be part of the list, and in the time spent before they get a transplant.
