Group develops template for conflict-of-interest disclosure

The Center for Science in the Public Interest has written a conflict-of-interest disclosure policy it hopes scientific and medical journal editors will adopt. The policy helps spell out financial and nonfinancial conflicts of interest and affiliations involving authors, editors and reviewers. It calls for full disclosure of potential conflicts up to three years prior to publication.
