Minnesota governor vetoes proposed ban of BPA

The governor of Minnesota has vetoed legislation that would have banned bisphenol A from products used by children. Numerous studies show the chemical has no harmful effects on humans. Proponents of a ban note that the chemical causes reproductive problems in rats, but scientists note that humans do not consume the chemical.
