Not all breast cancer patients finish radiation therapy

A new study finds 87% of 24,500 U.S. women diagnosed with breast cancer completed radiation therapy following surgery. Women who had a mastectomy were less likely to complete radiation than women who had breast conserving surgery, and black women were less likely to finish the regimen than white women.
