Green roof added to Toronto subway station

The latest green roof in Toronto is on the city's Eglinton West Station subway station. Terry McGlade, president of Gardens in the Sky, said the roof, which is between 9,000 and 10,000 square feet, is planted with drought-resistant sedums. A new membrane was put on the roof, and then 1-foot by 2-foot tray modules were added to plant the greenery.
