Wal-Mart works with Nielsen on consumer shopping information

Wal-Mart Stores is working with Nielsen to help the retailer glean insight from consumer shopping information. "This expanded relationship with Nielsen will provide Wal-Mart and Sam's Club with deeper insights into customer purchasing -- and unmet needs -- both nationally and in key local markets," said a Wal-Mart official.
