Chinese tourists turn their attention to Europe's other sights

Tourists from China who used to book organized bus tours of Europe's major cities for shopping trips to high-end stores are now focusing on sightseeing, entertainment and other new experiences on follow-up trips. The trend is driving a slowdown in the growth of luxury purchases by Chinese tourists -- sales rose 18% in the first half of the year, compared to a 69% jump in the first half of 2012, according to Global Blue.
