Farmers seek federal scrutiny of Monsanto soybean, cotton

Save our Crops Coalition, a group of Indiana farmers, is calling for an expanded review of Monsanto soybean and cotton crops, as the agency weighs whether to approve them. While the group claims approval would be an environmental threat, Monsanto has asked the agency to end its review as its new versions of its herbicide dicamba, to be used on the crops, are less likely to drift into nearby fields.
