FINRA plans to release ABS trade data

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority said it will use its Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine to publicly disclose trade information about Fannie Mae- and Freddie Mac-issued mortgage-backed securities, as well as Small Business Administration-guaranteed loans. The plan will expand to include additional asset-backed securities such as auto loans, credit card receivables and student loans if FINRA receives Securities and Exchange Commission approval.
