FDA lifts ban on cucumbers from 2 Mexican companies

The Food and Drug Administration lifted an import alert this week on cucumbers from Culiacán, Mexico-based Daniel Cardenas Izabal and Miracle Greenhouse. Cucumbers from the two Mexican growers were tied to an outbreak of salmonella that sickened 84 people in 18 states this year.
