Groups call for reversal of NIH cuts under sequestration

Multiple organizations are advocating against sequestration cuts to the NIH's budget, arguing they will negatively affect necessary research, including imaging studies. The agency faces an additional 7% budget cut in January after seeing funding cut 5.3% in 2013.
