Google+ is a well-designed site that could give Facebook a run for its money, especially with users who were already displeased by the Facebook experience, writes Simon Dumenco. But a rush of early adopters doesn't mean the network will succeed in the long run, unless it can offer features that persuade nontechies to do the work of maintaining multiple social profiles, Ken Wheaton counters.
