Educating girls can help prevent human trafficking, UN's Monasebian says

Human trafficking can be stymied if the root causes, such as lack of education for girls, are addressed, says Simone Monasebian of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. "Prevention is always the best thing: Work more on educating girls. There's nothing more important than that in the fight against human trafficking," she argues.
