Is the Fountain of Youth radioactive?

Residents of Punta Gorda, Fla., say their town is home to the original Fountain of Youth discovered by Ponce de Leon half a millennium ago. But analysis suggests the spring's waters, which stink of rotten eggs because of their high sulphur content, are also moderately radioactive, and don't meet federal safety guidelines. Attempts to shut down the spring have been consistently thwarted by local fans.
