GOP urges exclusion of ACA funds in next spending bill

A letter was signed by 66 House Republicans asking Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., to exclude funding for the Affordable Care Act from all budget bills. "It is imperative, now more than ever, that Congress do everything in its power to halt the implementation of the healthcare law," writes Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C. A similar letter was sent Thursday by 12 Senate Republicans to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
