Officials in England are considering a new school-funding system that would include a "pupil premium" -- awarding schools more funding when they serve disadvantaged populations. The proposal includes a plan to provide more funding for schools that enrol students whose parents are in the armed forces. Officials say children of military service members "face unique challenges and need to be supported as they progress through school".
