Think tank wants the FDA to let Americans use EU-approved drugs

The FDA should allow Americans to access treatments that are approved in Europe, the Pacific Research Institute said. The practice "would increase regulatory competition, enable more patient choice, and potentially save the lives of those suffering life-threatening illnesses and who currently have no treatment options," according to the think tank's report.
