Lawyer to file claims against VA for hospital errors

A lawyer based in Nashville, Tenn., plans to file medical malpractice and emotional distress claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for about 60 veterans who have been affected by hospital errors that possibly exposed them to HIV, hepatitis and other infectious diseases. The VA's regional counsel in Nashville did not return requests for comments.
